14-Year-Old Wanda Justice Swallows Acid After Quarrel With Boy.

Wanda Justice, a 14-year-old Kansas City, Kas., girl, died at police station No. 3 at 11:45 o'clock last night after she had swallowed half a bottle of carbolic acid. It was the unhappy ending of a trivial quarrel, which occurred while she was on her way to a picture show with three friends.

With her cousin, Hattie Justice, 14 years old, of 1638 South Eighteenth street, and two boy friends, Jacob Webstel, 18 years old, of 1820 Elmwood avenue, and Paul Richardson, 20 years old, of 1719 South Seventeenth street, Wanda left her home to visit a picture show.

"We had a petty jealousy argument," Richardson told the police later, "and the girls left us. I was with Wanda. She kept asking me about my attentions to other girls and I only thought she was jollying me."

Hattie Justice declared that after leaving their companions the two girls went to a drug store.
