Dandelions, Which Are Growing So Abundantly.
Kansas City, according to numerous persons who are doing their level best to have pretty lawns this season, is threatened with another invasion of the yellow peril. This peril involves the abundant growth of the yellow dandelion.
The dandelion, according to a reliable horticultural report, has become numerous already. It is growing everywhere. It is striking terror to the heart of lawn enthusiasts, for dandelions, it is said, not only mar the beauty of green front yards, but check the free growth of the grass. Grass at this time of year can't be coaxed too fervently.
The slogan of the anti-dandelion crusaders is: "Up with the dandelions; up with them, roots and all."
